Productions

Carol’s first full length play with music, Chicks In Heaven, received a sixteen-show production as part of the Bold New Voices Initiatives program at the Creative Cauldron in Falls Church, VA in April 2024. The music was written by Carol and her husband, award-winning songwriter, David Graziano. Their band, Favorite Child, plays regularly in the DC area.

Last year Carol co‑authored the satirical one‑act Sappho’s Garden, which was presented to a full house in a staged reading at NYC’s Drama Bookshop in the fall of 2025. It is now available for production and can be accessed through No Passport Press.

Carol created and produced a successful storytelling event featuring true transformative experiences of women called The Goddess Diaries. The show ran from 2010-2018 as a fundraising project for women-based charities and was voted Best of the Fringe three years in a row from various bloggers at The Capital Fringe Festival in Washington, DC (2012-2014). One of the Diaries’s monologues was featured in the recent anthology, Frozen Women, Flowing Thoughts published by Palmetto Publishing in 2025.

 The full-length stage play, The Lesbian Wannabe, a satirical salve for today’s political climate, was presented with the Outstanding Graduate Student Project Award in 2017.

 

After a subsequent reworking of both the script and score, Chicks From Heaven received nominations for Best New Musical and Best Director from BroadwayWorld Awards for an off‑off‑Broadway New York City reading in May 2025.

Publications 

A book launch of Carol’s newest historical fiction, The Rebel Rose debuted in May 2024 by Rebel Satori Press. Kirkus Reviews says it is “Beautifully written and charmingly relatable”.

Carol created Crone Stones, a widely popular meditation oracle made of 33 porcelain stones, to inspire all genders through stories of heroines and goddesses found around the world. The accompanying non-fiction manual, Return to Wellness: The New Book of Crone Stones, was published in 2011 by Barclay Bryan Press and won rave reviews by The Washington Post, SageWoman Magazine and New Age Retailer.

Writing Bio

Carol received a theater residency and grant in 2022 to create a new work related to fighting gender oppression as it intersects with climate disaster. The outcome of the project included a new stage play, Sappho’s Garden now available through No Passport Press. This is in collaboration with friend and colleague, Domnica Radulescu (Autumn 2024).
