A deep well of transformative knowledge exists in the form and narrative of the mermaid, aka water goddess. There is stunning evidence of a history that includes women who led in the cultures that regaled the goddess Aphrodite before she was coopted by the Greco Roman age. Through the embodied study of yoga combined with mythical relevance, we may have a greater understanding of the relationship between power and beauty and how it is revealed in our lives.
